Võru was faunded in 1784 by the order of the Russian empress Katariina II to be the administrative centre of the new country. Nowadays Võrumaa mostly captivates with its fascinating seenery. We are proud of the highest mountain of the baltic countries Suur Munamägi, Estonian deepest lake- Rõuge Suurjärv and Estonian largest river Võhandu and last but not least Estonian thickest oak-tree Tamme-Lauri oak and of course many other sights.
Võru lies on the shore of the magnificent lake Tamula. Our hotel has a perfect locations in the centre of the town just on teh beach of he lake. The Hotell Tamula has 22 double rooms and 2 luxury suites with sauna. We also have a twin room for handicap people and and floor for non-smokers.
Our guests have the opportunity to use a cosy sauna and conferense room with a beautiful view
